Simran has extensively advised companies on the defence procurement processes, fundamental government contracts and tenders and compliances. She plays a key role in shaping the India Defence and Security newsletter.
Simran also has vast experience in corporate and commercial laws. She has navigated clients through the legal and regulatory maze of establishing business in India and advised them on the approach best suited to an efficacious and expeditious implementation of such strategies in their India endeavours.

Claude Smadja began his career as an international journalist first in the print media and then joining the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation where his last position was as Executive Director for News and Current Affairs.
Claude is a frequent speaker and columnist on macroeconomic and geopolitical issues, and especially on trends relating to globalization, and on geopolitical and international economic issues. He closely follows developments in the Asia region – especially China and India and in Europe and the US.
Claude Smadja has been involved with the World Economic Forum for 14 years first as a member of the Executive Board and then as the Managing Director of the organization from 1995 to 2001.

Jagmohan Singh is a dynamic professional with over 40 years of cross-cultural experience in Military service, aerospace & defence industry, business development, strategic & tactical planning, project management, perspective planning, strategic alliances & partnerships, etc. He supported Lockheed Martin for about 18 years and his last position was Regional Director India & South Asia. His regular engagements with US Government officials and various US agencies enabled him to get good insights on Foreign Military Sales, technology transfer processes, ITAR, EAR and various licensing/compliance related issues.
During military career, he gained vast experience in military operations and commanded the equipment intensive units. His long stint at the Integrated Headquarters of MoD provided him practical knowledge on the work culture and functional aspects at the Service HQs, MoD and various other ministries. He possesses comprehensive knowledge and professional insights on the policy perspectives including procurement processes, Industry partnerships, regulatory framework, licensing regimes, bilateral/ multi-lateral relations etc.
Jagmohan was awarded Sword of Honour and Gold Medal by Indian Army Officers Training Academy. He holds Master of business administration (MBA and Master of Science (MSc).
